ARTH 350 – Native Arts of the Americas
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Take ARTH-220 or ARTH-221. (Required, Previous). Credit Hours: Min: 3; Max: Description: Introduction to the artistic and cultural traditions of native peoples in both North America and South America. Attention is placed on the collecting and studying of relevant artifacts and the evolution of competing methods for interpreting them.
ART 408 – Advanced Photography
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Take 1 group (Take ART-308 /Take ART-318 ART-328). (Required, Previous). Credit Hours: Min: 3; Max: Description: Emphasis on sustained individual development. Completion of a photographic portfolio as a vehicle for personal expression of a theme or concept. Awareness of contemporary masters is stressed.
ART 498 – Visual Art Internship

ART 328 – Photographic Lighting
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Take ART-218. (Required, Previous). Credit Hours: Min: 3; Max: Description: Introduction to basic photographic lighting techniques and equipment. Topics include lighting with continuous, strobe and hot shoe flash, the use of light meters and light modifiers. Instruction includes on location and studio lighting applications.
