MUSI 120 – Select Coval Ensemble
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Credit Hours: Min: 1; Max: Description: Modern and popular music is rehearsed and performed. Performances involve both singing and dancing. No more than three semester hours of ensemble music (Music 100, 120, 125, 130, 140, 150, 160, 180, and/or 190) may apply toward graduation requirements for non-majors.

With permission of the department, up to two semesters of 126 may count toward the first level of applied lessons for students who become Music Industry majors.

Material chosen from Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and twentieth century music. No more than three semester hours of ensemble music (Music 100, 120, 125, 130, 140, 150, 160, 180, and/or 190) may apply toward graduation requirements for non-majors.
MUSI 131 – Piano

MUSI 101 – Introduction to Music
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Credit Hours: Min: 3; Max: Description: Attention is focused on one element of music at a time (melody, harmony, timbre, and texture). Each element is discussed in its historical context, and illustrative examples are played.
MUSI 102 – Recital Attendance
Prerequisites/Corequisites: Credit Hours: Min: ; Max: Description: As a requirement for graduation, music majors attend department-approved performances for seven semesters.
