Fall/Winter 2024 | FMU Focus Magazine Fall/Winter 2024

The ongoing wave of construction at FMU included infrastructure updates, including new signage featuring the ubiquitous “FMU Red” brick, and resurfacing of all major campus roads. The road and signage work was completed just in time for the opening of the fall semester.

FMU has long had one of South Carolina’s most beautiful campuses. Now, it looks even better.

A new fountain adorns the lawn outside of Stokes Administration Building.

All major campus roads and most parking lots were resurfaced over the summer.

FMU students offer free tax return prep through April 9

Francis Marion University’s tax accounting students are offering free tax return preparation through the Internal Revenue Service’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. The program begins January 29 and runs through April 9. The service will be available every Wednesday from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, by appointment only. There are 13 appointment slots per hour.
