Assistant Professor of Finance (24-92)

The successful candidate should have completed all the requirements for the Ph.D. in Finance from an AACSB accredited university before joining the faculty. Expectations focus on excellence in teaching through student engagement, an active research agenda resulting in peer reviewed journal articles, and service to the university. Prior teaching at the university level and experience with online and experiential learning pedagogies are preferred. A typical teaching load includes nine (9) hours per semester. This is a nine-month contract (with the possibility of summer teaching opportunities). Possible teaching responsibilities include undergraduate courses in introductory and advanced financial management, introductory and advanced investments, financial markets and institutions, and real estate or graduate financial management.
