About the Nursing Student Handbooks
The Undergraduate and Graduate Nursing Handbooks contain the policies, procedures, and general information of the undergraduate and graduate nursing programs at FMU. The information in these handbooks is a supplement to, not a substitute for, that which is published in the current editions of the FMU Student Handbook and Catalog. The FMU Catalog and Student Handbook as well as the Undergraduate and Graduate Nursing Handbooks are not irrevocable contracts. Regulations published in them are subject to change at any time without prior notice. The University and Nursing Program regulations are policy statements to guide students, faculty, and administrative officers in achieving the goals of the institution.
By enrolling in the Nursing Program at Francis Marion University, you agree to be bound by the policies and procedures described in the applicable Handbook for your chosen program option. Successful completion of and graduation from the Nursing Program requires adherence to all policies, procedures, and regulations as stipulated by Francis Marion University and the Nursing Program. If you have any questions with regard to the requirements, regulations, and/or policies contained therein, do not hesitate to refer them to your Nursing Academic Advisor, the Department Chair, Course Coordinator, Nursing Program’s Office of Student Services, or other appropriate persons.
