FMU Nursing students gather for ceremony
The latest graduating class of Francis Marion University’s lauded Nursing Program held a Nurse Pinning Ceremony Thursday evening at FMU’s Chapman Auditorium.
The ceremony is a nursing tradition that symbolizes symbolizing the transition from the classroom into the practical realm of nursing.
FMU Nursing Faculty members presented the prospective grads with nursing pins and students recited the Nightingale Pledge.
FMU’s nursing program was launched in 2006 and has remained a cornerstone of Francis Marion University’s commitment to providing the region and state with adequate healthcare.
