For individuals who have completed a bachelor’s degree and wish to enrich their lives and the lives of school age children, this program will help you prepare for initial certification in multi-categorical special education.
The Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) includes coursework and related practicums which provide the knowledge and skills needed to work with this unique population of students. The final semester of the M.A.T. program includes coursework that is similar to the undergraduate student teaching block.
The M.A.T. program is CAEP accredited.
