Description: Overview of theoretical assumptions and concomitant assessment and treatment strategies associated with the major models of couple and family therapy, including cognitive-behavioral, Bowenian/family systems, object relations/psychodynamic, structural, and strategic. Examination of cultural diversity and ethical/professional issues in clinical work with couples and families. Must be concurrently enrolled in Psychology 600-C, Psychological Intervention Practicum
