Description: This course provides the RN-to-BSN student the opportunity to refine and validate therapeutic nursing skills and interventions necessary to provide culturally sensitive physical assessment, health promotion, and health protection to patients across the lifespan. Emphasis is placed on communication, teaching-learning, critical thinking, diagnostic skills in relation to clinical decision-making, and the delivery of evidence-based nursing interventions. The practicum for this course is designed to strengthen the RN's clinical judgment and assessment skills.
