Description: This elective course will explore the relationship between health and spirituality and the process of spiritual development across the lifespan. Current research in these areas will be stressed. Various religions and their impact on healthcare practices will be examined. Means of conducting the spiritual assessment and the healthcare provider's role in spiritual care will be analyzed.
