Description: The course introduces the student to contemporary and emerging societal problems and issues as they relate to and impact upon education. These problems and issues will be viewed from a national, state, and local perspective. This course will focus on the dynamics of educational change. The student will be expected to focus on a particular educational or societal problem/issue and assess and evaluate its instructional implications.
