This course is designed to provide basic but essential lessons on utilizing American Sign Language to communicate in everyday life. Some course topics will include fingerspelling, common phrases, body language, and more. The main objective is that upon course completion learners will have the ability to hold a beginner-level conversation in ASL with a deaf/hard-of-hearing native user of the language.
