Description: Survey of modern advances in the theories and applications of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), including the behavioral treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder, behavioral economics and delay discounting, stimulus control, verbal behavior, and functional analysis. Students will gain skills in designing, implementing, and monitoring the effectiveness of a behavior change project. Attention will also be given to learning communication skills and developing an understanding of the importance of dissemination of new information in the field of ABA.
