Description: Overview of psychological, physiological, and computational methodologies used to understand the neural basis of cognitive processes such as vision and attention, learning and memory, reading and language, meaning and semantics, and the organization and control of action. The emphasis will be on how the application of converging methodologies (brain imaging - EEG and fMRI, recordings from individual neurons, studies of brain-injured patients) leads to important insights into the nature of cognition that would be difficult to obtain through any one methodology alone.
