Description: Introduction to classical electromagnetic theory. The differential form of Maxwell's equations will be developed and applied to various problems in electrostatics, magnetostatics, electromagnetic fields, and waves. Particular emphasis will be placed on radiation fields with applications to optics. Electric and magnetic properties of materials will also be discussed briefly.
