Description: This course utilizes the case study method to teach about major environmental issues facing the world today. These issues include climate change; loss of biodiversity; pollution; water supply and demand; endangered species; ecological footprint; and pesticide use. Students will work together to develop skills in group learning, speaking, and critical thinking, while learning the relevance of biology and environmental issues in their daily lives.
