Description: This course provides the learner with the opportunity for in-depth experience in the management of acute health care problems in young adult, adult, and frail elderly patients from rural populations. The learner expectations include complete care management and decision-making. This course will also discuss health promotion, teaching, and disease prevention for rural and underserved patients, families, and communities living with acute healthcare conditions.
