Description: Introduction to fundamental skills used in clinical/counseling interviews, including interview and observation techniques used for clinical data gathering. Particular emphasis is on case conceptualization to inform treatment planning, case report writing, and basic counseling techniques. Particular attention is also given to ethical and professional issues in counseling. Students must be concurrently enrolled in Psychology 600C, Psychological Intervention Practicum.
