For individuals who are currently licensed teachers who would like to add certification in Early Childhood Montessori Education, or in Elementary Montessori Education.
M.Ed. in Montessori Education (Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education)
Both Montessori degrees can be completed primarily online, but there are a couple of courses requiring in-person instruction. Students in the Montessori program will also be required to complete a supervised Internship in a Montessori classroom.
Both programs are 36 graduate hours. Coursework for each program is broken down as follows:
Montessori Core Courses (Summer Only courses) – 12 credit hours
Montessori Electives – 12 credit hours
Montessori Internship – 6 credit hours
